WWOW: Love for One is Love for All

Let love be without dissimulation. Resist that which is evil (pride) hold onto that which is good. Be kindly affectionate, one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another. – Romans 12:9-10

Love for One is Love for All

Love for AllWe simply don’t express pure, unconditional love. Even when we think we love someone, our pride puts a scenario into our mind that portrays a certain response from them. Real love expects nothing. Pride resist this principle and will not relinquish expectations.

How can we ever get to that state of feeling absolute love for another person. By ourselves, we can’t. Our pride has too much at stake to bow out quietly. We do have a tool… a gift at our disposal that can create the love we’d like to express. We have to get quiet to use it, and that’s not always easy. The pride–our world, is loud and intimidating, but perseverance pays off.

The holy spirit wants to respond to all our calls for help. We simply have to Be Still and ask. The miracle is that when we do feel love, total love for one, it touches everyone else. My feelings of love for one person affects how I feel about everyone. all my relationships have been helped today by my love for one.

Pray Today: Thank you, Jesus for all the people whom I love. I know I see Your face in them. Please help them to see you in me. Amen.
